Opéré par BPIFrance pour le compte de l’Etat (MESR), la 5e édition d’i-PhD a été lancée en novembre.
Initié en 2019, le Concours d’innovation i-PhD a pour objectif de stimuler la dynamique entrepreneuriale des jeunes chercheur/ses et de faciliter l’émergence de leur projet de startup deeptech. Il marque un engagement de l’Etat via une labellisation et une communication renforcée, une insertion dans l’écosystème de l’innovation national et un accès facilité à des financements. Il est destiné aux doctorant/es et post-docs dont le projet est soutenu par un laboratoire de recherche ainsi qu’un service de transfert de technologie et/ou un incubateur de la Recherche publique.

Au programme
• Présentation du Concours par Mme Valérie JACOB HOARAU, référente nationale Bpifrance du Concours i-PhD et par M Frédéric MAGNI, Responsable Crédit et Innovation Nice – Bpifrance : éligibilité, processus de sélection, évolutions et points importants du règlement, conseils de rédaction.
• Témoignage et retour d’expérience d’une lauréate régionale 2022 : Mme Christina KYROU, Flatlight.
• Présentation de l’accompagnement individualisé proposé par l’Incubateur Provence-Côte d’Azur aux porteurs de projet candidats.
• Réponses aux questions de l’assistance.
Les interventions se feront en français avec des résumés en anglais, et les questions-réponses dans les deux langues.

i-PhD contest (Concours d’innovation i-PhD) aims at fostering the entrepreneurial energy in the young researchers and post-doc community by easing the ignition of their DeepTech startups projects. The laureates benefit from visibility and reinforced communication, connexion with the innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystems and funding facilities. i-PhD contest is dedicated to innovative startups projects holded by young PhDs and researchers supported by a French public research lab, a Technology Transfert Office and/or a Public Research Incubator.
Application deadline: 11:59 pm on March 29th, 2024.
