ToumAI: AI that understands your customers, no matter how they speak.

ToumAI develops voice and text-based artificial intelligence solutions adapted to underrepresented languages, accents, and the linguistic realities of emerging or tourist markets. In a world where customer interactions are increasingly oral and written, the lack of consideration for local languages, dialects, or hybrid forms of expression (code-switching, Franglais, Darija, Broken English, etc.) creates a divide in the user experience.

Our mission: to make customer interaction analysis accessible, inclusive and actionable for companies operating in complex linguistic contexts – in Africa, but also in Europe and the Middle East.

Using a hybrid AI architecture combining large language models (LLM), optimized lightweight models (SLM), and proprietary engines, we analyze the voice of the customer in all its forms: phone calls, survey transcripts, voicemails, social media, and CRM tickets. This allows our clients—major banks, telcos, and utilities—to improve their quality of service, detect irritants, measure perceived impact, and automate their triage, feedback, and customer follow-up processes.

ToumAI also leads high-impact projects such as Dvoice, an open-source initiative collecting local voice data, aimed at strengthening digital inclusion through language.

Based between France and Morocco, the team is composed of around fifteen multidisciplinary professionals with backgrounds in AI, linguistics, technology, and customer experience. ToumAI has won several innovation awards (AfricArena, Intel AI Hackathon, Nvidia Inception) and already supports leaders such as Orange and Attijariwafa Bank.
