FAIR (Flexible Airfoil Innovation & Research) develops GENEPI (GEneralized Non-linear aero-Elasticity
of Paragliders and Inflatable wings),, an advanced simulation software exclusively dedicated to soft aircraft (paragliders, kitesurf wings, airborne wind turbines, maritime traction wings…). By integrating cutting-edge mathematical models and an innovative fluid-structure coupling approach, FAIR AERO optimizes the design and performance of these fabric-based structures.
The project bridges a technological gap between scientific research and soft-wing manufacturers. With a hybrid offering combining software licenses and engineering services, FAIR AERO positions itself as a key player in innovation within these industries.
Objective: Provide companies with an efficient digital solution to design higher-performing products, reduce development costs, and accelerate innovation.
🔹 Market: Manufacturers of soft aircraft (aerial and maritime sports, renewable energy, defense, space)
🔹 Advantages: Ultra-precise modeling, reduced R&D costs, experimental validation
🔹 Vision: Become the reference software for optimizing and simulating soft structures
In partnership with industry leaders and research laboratories, FAIR AERO aims to establish GENEPI as the industry standard for designing the next generation of soft aircraft.
