The EOLE STAB project (endorsed by POLE MER MEDITERRANEE), with its provisions covered by 5
international patents, will eventually bring to market a platform for high-power offshore wind turbines
(adaptable to any single-mast offshore wind turbine >15MW) that is insensitive to the effects of waves and
wind. This will enhance their productivity, reduce maintenance costs, and increase the operational lifespan and
profitability. ln comparison to existing technologies, its provisions also enable a reduction in manufacturing
and implementation time, as well as environmental impacts.
Therefore, EOLE STAB’s primary mission is research and development, and engineering around its technology
and practical applications, with the aim of Iicensing and providing monitoring services to developers
responding to floating offshore wind tender calls. This sector is an emerging and rapidly growing industry,
with large-scale projects expected to begin around 2030.
