Blue biotechnologies are booming for their commitments to a sustainable economy. In this sense, the development of the microalgae sector is essential and promising. Nevertheless, like modern agriculture, it is needed to select better performing microorganisms. The DareWin project, proposes an innovative approach of dynamic Darwinian selection to naturally increase the productivity of microalgae to produce molecule of interest. The proofs of concept show that it is possible to increase by more than 2 microalgae productivity 2 after few selection months allowing our customers real gains in competitiveness
