4 July at 10.30am at the Business Centre: Inauguration of ESA BIC Southern France
ESA BIC Southern France in brief:
Launched at the air show in Le Bourget in June 2013, ESA’s new incubator is called ESA BIC (European Space Agency – Business Incubation Center) Southern France. This the agency’s first business incubator in France but it already has eight others elsewhere in Europe.
Coordinated by the Aerospace Valley cluster, CNES and the Pégase cluster, ESA BIC Southern France covers three regions – Aquitaine, Midi-Pyrénées and Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur (PACA). Moreover, the incubator is run by agencies that help with the set-up of innovative companies viz. ESTIA Entreprendre, Bordeaux Technowest, CEEI Théogone, Incubateur Midi-Pyrénées and Incubateur PACA-Est. ESA BIC Southern France aims to develop new companies that use space technology for a non space-related market.
